Animal & Home talk...

Some of you may know that where I live the neighbours have a barn. My neighbour/friend Jen is a horse nutt! Over the past 2 year I have never met anyone who knew so much about horse's and her love for them shows each day. She is out there in the blizzards, humid and rainy weather to care for them... and how they respond to her is amazing to see. She has so much knowledge about horses that I think she could write a good 20 to 30 books about them :)
Jen does not only have horses, but she has a pig named Tilly, a goat named Billy who thinks he is a horse and tries to be the boss, a shoat is what we call Nellie who follows just about anyone anywhere and is 1/2 sheep and 1/2 goat... But the newest one is Honey who is the cutest dwarf pony EVER!
I am a outdoors person.. I could live out there when the weather is right, and when we moved here in Port Robinson I knew we where going to be here for a long time. I mean what more can you ask for when you see the ships come through the canal from your kitchen or livingroom windows, take a few steps and your onto some walking or biking trails, or go to your backyard and see horse's play around, goats running around the yards, and a dwarf pony being walked around town! This is what we get to experience every day.
I think what I love the most is the fact that we can raise Bryson out here where there is room to roam and most importantly.. give him the knowldge to see different kinds of animals everyday and learn to respect them as if they where people like us.


I think that is it for now.. in the near future I do plan on using Honey for some wonderful children photographs.. so if you are interested just let me know :)

Vanessa & Ryan- e-session

Today I had an awsome engagement session with Ryan and Vanessa. They are such a cute couple. Vanessa came here a few weeks ago to get their adorable children photo's taken for Easter, from than to now we have been chatting on facebook, talking about wedding plans. Ryan and Vanessa will be getting hitched a week after Evan and I. They wanted to get married by Elvis in Las Vages, but they had a change of plans and will be bringing Vagas to them on June 27 2009.
I had a great time with you both, sadly after our shoot someone broke into their car and stole Vanessa's purse with her life, Ryans ring and more. Make's you really think about what our children will be facing when they hit our age and wonder if times like these will only get better or worse for them. People have balls.. smashing a window in braud daylight, parking lot with people and employee's of the place.
I hope you guys get everything back... but most of all I wish you both many years of happieness.

Caroline & Kelly

The other day we did some late Easter photo's. When Caroline and Kelly wanted to come by for some photographs with the bunny it always seemed to rain. Friday the sun finally came out and I was able to capture some great photographs.

New Products

I ordered a clients album and myself a sample book to show future clients my work and what the books look like.

Amanda

I photographed Amanda's sweet little girl. She is so adorable and really knew who to smile for the camera! We changed her in 2 outfits and 3 times and still had a bright smile on her face, it was awsome.

Vanessa

Vanessa wanted to come out for the Easter photo special as well.
It was her first time being one of my clients and from her reaction to the photographs I don't think it will be her last! Her kids are so cute.. her little guy Owen reminds me and some what looks like my nephew Kayden.
I had a blast photographing some special moments for Vanessa of her little ones..

Jackson- Easter

I have been photographing Jackson since he was a month or two old. I love it when any of my clients come back for more photographs... Just makes me really think that I am so blessed and happy creating family moments for clients to share and LOVE!
It's also great seeing the children grow up as well.. and how much they have changed. Patti and I keep in contact over facebook as well, so we are always messaging and talk about whats up in our lives. She and her family are so awsome!

Cole- Easter Photo's

Easter was near and I was offering some great specials on Easter photographs. My neighbours lent me 1 of their adorable bunnies and barn for some of the shoots.

Amaya is a good friend of one of my clients Patti. Patti contacted me about getting some of her son Jackson's photo's done and wanted to see if I could photograph her friend as well.
Cole was awsome he loved holding the bunny for some shots!

WNP Shoot

I have joined a group for photographers in the Niagara area a few months ago. It's an awsome and very knowledgeable group! We work and learn from one and other, which is awsome for myself and I am sure others who have either been in the business for some time or like myself who look up to those photographers and can take it all in and learn. Photography a few years ago was always about beating the person next to you.. yes we all want business and to keep busy like the others, but at the same time it's great to find a great group of people who don't mind helping and teaching other photographers. Plus its akways nice to talk with other photographers about photography :)

We met up downdown St Catharines.. this would be my first group shooting with a few different modles. I asked one of my best friend Jennie to come on out and pose for a few shots, and Leah my soon to be sister in law to work her magic with make up. Leah is still a student at Niagara for Make up, Nails and that sort of stuff. So thought it would be awsome to have fun and work outside of the normal make up jobs and spice up her portfolio for clients.
Here are some photo's from that day. I couldn't stay to long but love the work that I took!

Devyn

I managed to find a old friend on facebook. We use to work together many many years ago, it was my 1st job at East Side Mario's and I was about 15 at the time. I remember her mom breeding these beautiful kittens, and heading to the beach with D and some of her friends a few times. Over the years we all went our own ways, and she had a little guy who is a few months older than Bryson. She wanted to get some Easter picture's of Devyn so I met them at Merrit Island in Welland and brought Evan and Bryson along so the boys could hang out and play and Evan could watch Bryson.
It was great seeing her again after all of these years!

Tammy & family

It was a week of maternity sessions. Tammy contacted me to photograph some maternity and family shots for her. During the session you can see her two older children so pumped about being a big brother & sister.. which is great for mommy when she needs some help :)
About 2 weeks after her session I was getting ready to drop off her package, when she sent me an email letting me know that they had their new bundle of joy! We had some great timing for the session and captured the moments just before the baby arrived. Congrat to Tammy and her wonderful family.

Stacey & Family

I photographed some family and maternity shots for Stacey a few weeks ago at the greenhouse. It worked out great because all of the spring flowers are in bloom and was perfect for some maternity and family photographs. I want to be able to offer my clients a variety of photography and sessions.
Stacey is expecting her 3rd little one in a few short weeks. I had a great time working with her and her adorable family. Here are a few shots from their session.

Rachael & Darryl = Love

I had the honor of Rachael and Darryl sharing their special day with Evan and I . They are such a fun and awsome couple to work with. Rachael did an amazing job making the bouqets, bouts, and just about everything else.

Honestly everything is crazy right now, with the wedding 2 months away, photographing some amazing clients.. and Bryson is getting his molers.

I will be uploading some more work, I have photographed a wedding, some maternity sessions and with Easter almost here some Easter sessions. So I will post up some of those images tomorrow or the day after.
